About Me
Hi, I’m Suthee Chaidaroon. Online, I go by Un Suthee, and Un is my nickname.
I’m an applied machine learning scientist with a focus on search and recommendation systems. My work bridges theory and application, combining large language models (LLMs), embedding-based retrieval, and ranking models to build scalable, human-centered solutions. You can explore my research on Google Scholar.
What I Work On
- LLM-enhanced search and recommendations : Integrating language models into retrieval workflows
- Embedding models and personalized ranking : Designing dense and hybrid representations for relevance
- Real-time ML pipelines : Building production systems that are fast, interpretable, and scalable
This blog is where I share ideas, experiments, and lessons learned from working on applied ML systems. Topics often include retrieval models, ranking architectures, and practical techniques for making search more effective and interpretable.
Thanks for reading.
